62.10. Character Dossier
Do you believe in the phrase 'all men / women are created equal'?
All men and woman are created equal. We’re all the product of a sperm and an egg, we’re all created by a roll in the sack of some form, or these days, a guy’s strategic aim for a plastic cup. It’s what we’re taught and raised into after birth that makes a different and it’s that which will always make us different, with different views, attitudes and morals. Environment makes us unequal, not our creation.
Name a person you admire. Name a friend, and name a relative. Describe each and your relationship to them.
A friend I admire is Lachlan Campbell. What he’s literally survived through and overcome in the last year is astounding, and he’s come out of it all still able to love and laugh. If I could take just one leaf out of his book, I know I’d always be a better man for it. A relative I admire has to be my wife, Marie. She’s my everything and she puts up with me without wanting or needing me to change. I couldn’t and wouldn’t want to live my life without her.
If you could kiss anyone in the world on midnight at New Year's eve, who would it be?
My wife. Our first New Years together, so we have to make it a fucking good one.
What happened in the last year that you would most like to forget?
Two things, really. My best friend getting shot and nearly killed, then Rogue being beaten up which resulted in her losing our baby.
If you could change one thing you did in the last 24 hours, what would it be & why?
I would’ve worn white boxers so when I that catheter bag exploded all over me, the nurses wouldn’t have copped an eyeful of my red and black striped undies.
Who do you vent to when you are having a bad day?
Whoever is in the line of fire. Marie when I’m home, Lachlan if he calls, Cameron if we have lunch at work, House if he’s the one causing my bad day (which is 90% of the time). I’m really not very choosy. Whoever listens, really.
Who makes you feel taken for granted and who do you most take for granted?
House. But hey, after nearly six years, I’m used to it. Everyone is House’s bitch. It’s not like I’m an isolated incident. I think I’ve learned not to take anyone for granted. I’m too scared I’m going to lose those I love to make the mistake of taking them for granted.
What have you recently changed your mind about?
That I like Christmas carols. I’ve decided I hate them with a passion considering it’s not even December and we’re already getting our ears bashed with them.
What one thing is there no wrong or right way to do?
Wank. What? It’s true. Whatever floats your boat. You bugger it up, you only have yourself to blame, don’t you?
Palm trees or snow storms?
Palm trees, every time. I hate being cold.
