It took a little while before Alex managed to get a bit of composure back, albeit not much. He couldn't help being embarrassed and he was kind of glad he didn't trust himself to lift his head from the bucket that he had gripped in his hands just yet. "Sorry," he mumbled breathlessly, and fuck, did that cool cloth feel nice. He leaned over and rested his head on his arm when it felt too heavy to hold up. He couldn't be sure yet if he was done or not.

"Pretty sure I'd pick work over this any day," he lamented quietly. "You need to go home and crash. It means a lot you checked in on me, but I'll survive. I'm just better horizontal right now. Hn, I feel like hell..." he moaned.
