Chase had gotten up to get the small trash can from the kitchen in case Connor was going to throw up, and he also brought him back a large glass of water. He set them near by and sat back down beside him, rubbing his back through the blanket to try to warm him up a little. "You didn't ask me for help," he reminded him, because Connor just showing up in a distressed state wasn't the same thing. Chase was just helping him because he knew Connor shouldn't have to ask for it. They didn't know much about each other, but there was a connection of some sort there. It hadn't stopped at a single fuck, neither of them had tried to stop what was happening. He only knew that sort of thing happened when it was more than just a random fuck... which they both had a lot of experience with.
He frowned with a small shake of his head, trying to wrap his head around this and follow along. "Annalise's... husband? Sorry, I'm only familiar with her work, not her personal life. She's infamous so the reputation precedes her. Got rid of the body, so I'm going to assume it wasn't from natural causes, and that by doing that, you've become an accessory or you did it yourself. Do you want to tell me what happened? There's no judgement, I promise. Like I said, I've... done things that aren't legal or ethical by any means. I know enough to know that seeing something terrible can affect people just as much as if they conducted the act itself. You have to talk to someone about it or it will eat you alive."
