Dr Robert Chase

So, evidently due to Chase's absence of late, he went quiet on me for awhile. I'm blaming his almost total lack of character-developing canon for him in the last two seasons, but recent interviews with Jesse Spencer seem to indicate this could change soon.

'Course, when all else fails, have your muse's wife put him in a coma! ;) Nah, just kidding. But the break did help me stimulate Chase's voice and he's waking up on me again. It seemed he was just happy to contentedly sit back and let some of my other muses take the driver's seat for awhile. It gave me a chance to get a new and dearly-loved muse off the ground and build up some background for a few of my others.

But nevertheless, he is talking to me again and much of this is thanks to the muns of justalilcontact, drcampbell and doctortara, even if they are all evil enablers ;) With a bit of luck, Chase should be able to squeeze some more consistent prompts out of me in the coming weeks (all assuming I don't die in a melted ball of sweat from the Aussie heatwave)

Today is my Chase's one year anniversary of muse writing. I've seen a lot of posts like this pop up recently and I'm proud of myself for reaching his milestone. I have actually written Chase in some capacity (whether it be fic, RP, or muse) since the year House, M.D. first started (so, about three years) but I think to have this particular form of him make it to one year is some feat. I know for a fact he still has much more momentum in him to keep me going in his brain for awhile yet!

While I have met some wonderful muns this past year, and Chase has met even more wonderful muses, I just want to thank my constant partners in crime - the muns of justalilcontact, drcampbell, doctortara and sexyinscrubs. They have put up with me and my brood for countless hours on end, evolving around plotting, scheming, enabling and just basically laughing our arses off. Recently my creative muse mind has been pulled in many different directions, but these amazing muns (and friends) have allowed me to keep consistent with all of them and create many fun characters to mess around with in the big wide playground that is Muse Land.

But of course, last but never ever least, the Rogue to my Chase. He wouldn't be here without her and would likely have ended up in traction from too much drunk Karaoke or intoxicated stripping sessions. It's been an absolute pleasure to play out this ongoing ship with Rogue's mun and we still have much more to explore.

Thanks to everyone who has read Chase and followed him over the last twelve months. He and I don't randomly interact as much as we used to (mostly due to time constraints and RL being a bitch), but he's always willing to have a nice chat to anyone who'll listen :)

just_muse_me

I've injured my back which means any movement, sitting, standing, looking down, reaching up, bending etc. etc. is agony for me at the moment. I'm about to get some treatment for it that will hopefully ease the pain but I could be out-of-action for a few days.

This means any tags I owe for any of my pups are on hold until I can at least tolerate sitting longer than a minute at a time. Sorry for any inconvenience. I promise I'll be back to tag as soon as I am able! Which hopefully will be later today if I get my way.

Man, I could fangirl forever, so I better stop. If you aren't here, it doesn't mean I don't love you! I love a good portion of my f-list but don't have the time to interact personally with everyone, unfortunately. Hopefully one day, our pups will cross paths. I'm just honoured to be involved in muse writing with such a fantastic and varied bunch of writers out there.

So, I have noticed recently (especially with the closure of two popular comms) that a lot of the people on Chase's f-list don't seen to be active anymore. It makes me wonder what new people/muses are out there with interesting things to read that I don't know about.

Does anyone know if there has been a muse friending meme of late? I know there was one by the Zoolander muse a few months ago, but anything more recent? I remember Chase picked up some great friends by that last time who continue to be wonderful reads.

Because I can't possibly love this pair of muns and muses anymore than I already do, I couldn't help myself when I saw doctortara's post for couples_therapy of a soundtrack of her relationship with drcampbell. I had make them a fanmix. We've been RP sparring partners for over a year and I've come to love their pairing. I've followed their happy and heartwrenching plot from day one and was over the moon when they decided to transition in muse writing also.
