OOC // House series finale
May. 22nd, 2012 03:47 pmPerfect end just really couldn't have been more perfect. I fell off the House horse the past two seasons because it changed so much from the original formula, but couldn't miss the last ever episode. It was wonderful, fitting, and even though I was bawling through, as a veteran House fan, I say perfect way to bid farewell to a frankly awesome show ♥
In saying that, I have waited for this day to come for about two years now. The moment where Chase finally gets to dive into the realms of a "post canon" character, and his ending has opened up a realm of possibilities for me that I want to explore. WHY ARE THERE HARDLY ANY GOOD MUSE COMMS LEFT?! Muse writing used to be my favourite way to get my fandom on!
Anyway, will probably see my Chase around more. His voice never left me, it just took a cruisy back seat in favour of my main pup now, Kurt from Glee. I'll leave it to that pair of sassy bitches to battle it out in my head for dominance ;) In the meantime, I'll probably give Chase's journal a complete overhaul and start mostly from scratch.

LJRP just wouldn't be the same without you. But honestly, so great to still see some "old school" muses and muns in the mix! You all always make me feel so nostalgic for the good ol' muse days!

Holy hell on a horseback, it's been a seriously long fucking time since I had Chase out to play, and let's just say I haven't really watched House since a little after Chase killed that dictator (is it still considered a spoiler years down the track? :P)
I'm going to have him out a bit, but I'm still deciding what I want to do with him as to canon. So, for now, he probably won't reference many canon events beyond that period but he's still working for House in Princeton at Princeton Plainsboro and going about his playboy doctor duties in his lovely Aussie way that I have missed so much. Poor boy had to play second fiddle in my head to a sassy gay bitch for awhile now, so we will see how that warring goes.
If I tagged with you in the past and you're still around, feel free to tag now for old times. Any newbies, I'm very set in my Chase ways and a natural Aussie, sooo... ;)

Didn't find it shocking, didn't find it suspenseful, didn't find it... much of anything, really.
Predictable, maybe? Not going to miss it on the season break.
And welcome back to the land of two lines an ep, Chase.
Maybe I'm just cynical in light of recently falling in love with another medical drama that is like a breath of fresh air for my fandom brain, but hey... at least this time House didn't end the season as a hospital patient of some sort.
Didn't find it shocking, didn't find it suspenseful, didn't find it... much of anything, really.

It's new, and I've only been a member for less than a day and already it's been a breath of fresh air to stretch my muse feet. I haven't open RP'ed in a long time for lack of a comfortable portal, to be honest, and IMHO it's been fun, to both play there and read some quality RP.
Yeah, there is a minor joining process and a couple of joining requirements (log your own character on the character list and have some brief info on your profile) but I personally don't think that's a bad thing at all because there's nothing more annoying than going to a muse profile to see who you are sparring against only to find bugger all info.
Ps. And I can't help it, but Dean Winchester verses Cutthroat Bitch is just win for me. It's gems like this that I miss about impromptu RP.

This time it is strictly in the House, M.D. universe, with a small twist. It's going to cover a guilty pleasure I have long since wanted to try my hand at: Chase/Cuddy
Now that Chase has managed to collect a Cuddy with a mun willing to explore this with me, Chase's new, slightly tongue-in-cheek verse is:

Dec. 18th, 2009 12:47 pmSo, LJ has a pretty good holiday promo going on at the moment. Basically, paid account users can gift plus and basic account users with tokens to get a paid account for a year for $9.95. Normally this would cost $19.95.
The only catch is you need to pay by credit card and it's on automatic payments. This could mean if you didn't want to continue with a paid after a year, you would have to remember to cancel the automatic payment from your credit card before the year date comes up in 2010.
Chase is on a paid account, as are a couple of my other pups. If anyone who currently has a basic or plus account would like one of these tokens, please let me know, even if we don't know each other. I'm cool to send these to anyone who wants them until I hit my quota. A tenner for a year paid time is a pretty good deal.

Becauseimgrounded's mun and I had so much fun exploring Chase/Peter in etrelibre_rpg, we decided to take a leaf out of justalilcontact and dontdotricks's book and export the ship from the restricted RPG setting into a muse setting where their current canon can come into play.
This verse picks up for Chase directly after House, M.D. episode 6x09 "Ignorance is Bliss", so there will be A LOT of Season 6 spoilers, especially in regards to Chase's canon. I repeat, A LOT. The first prompt is packed full of spoilers. A lot has happened to him this Season, and this new verse is going to be where I explore a lot of it.
The new verse is called Afraid to Run, which relates to both Chase and Peter's canon (especially with regards to his relationshio with Cameron and what happens in Season 6). The new verse tag is [verse] afraid to run.
Over and out, please resume normal scheduling ;)
